Rates and Property Record Updates

The Shire of Sandstone wishes to advise ratepayers and tenement holders that some recent rate notices and property records may contain inaccuracies relating to ownership details, grouped assessments, or other property information.

These discrepancies have arisen due to delays in the receipt of updated schedules and official documentation from Landgate. As these schedules are legal documents, the Shire is unable to amend ownership records, create grouped assessments, or make other property-related changes until the relevant documentation has been formally received and processed.

The Shire acknowledges any inconvenience this may cause and apologises to affected ratepayers. Please be assured that staff are updating records as quickly as possible once the required legal documentation is received.

If you believe your rate notice contains incorrect information, please contact the Shire Administration Office. Staff can confirm whether updated documentation has been received and advise on the status of any pending amendments.

The Shire appreciates your patience and understanding while these matters are being resolved.
